Villa Aliano was built in the18th century and a famous artist bought it in 1983.
The property has been continously restored over the years and the owner has tastefully designed the restoration plan which was made with the target to preserve the traditional Tuscan style in every detail. Antique dark-red handmade terracotta tiles cover the floors and the roof which is supported by powerful oak beams. The windows and doors are elegantly framed in the local silver-gray stone named "pietra serena.”
The Villa can comfortably accommodate up to 14 persons on two floors. It consists of 6 large bedrooms with traditional Tuscan wrought-iron queen size or single size beds, comfortable mattresses and six charming “Belle Époque” en suite bathrooms decorated with high quality white ceramic and brass fittings. All the bedrooms overlook the valley and have their own air conditioning system, wifi internet connection and window screens.
In the house there are several magnificent reproductions of masterpieces by Renaissance artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Sandro Botticelli, Piero della Francesca, Paolo Uccello, Domenico Ghirlandaio, Masaccio, Alesso Baldovinetti and Ercole de' Roberti. The result is an uncompromisingly authentic and nostalgic atmosphere.

Bedroom 1
Located on the ground floor, this bedroom has a queen size double bed and a single size bed with private bathroom (sink, shower, bidet) and separate WC. Sleeps max. 3 persons.
Bedroom 2
Located on the first floor, this bedroom has a queen size double bed with en suite bathroom (sink, tub/shower, bidet, WC). Sleeps max. 2 persons.
Bedroom 3
Located on the first floor, this bedroom has three single size beds with en suite bathroom (sink, tub/shower, bidet, WC). On request two of the single beds can be joined into a double bed. Sleeps max. 3 persons.
Bedroom 4
Located on the first floor, this bedroom has a queen size double bed with en suite bathroom (sink, tub/shower, bidet, WC). Sleeps max. 2 persons.
Bedroom 5
Located on the first floor, this bedroom has two single size beds with en suite bathroom (sink, tub/shower, bidet, WC). On request the two single beds can be joined into a double bed. Sleeps max. 2 persons.
Bedroom 6 / Suite
Located on the ground floor, this bedroom is a suite with queen size bed, en suite bathroom (sink, shower, bidet, WC), lounge, satellite TV and private panoramic terrace open to the olive grove and the pool area. Sleeps max. 2 persons.
Panoramic terraces
The property has 3 panoramic terraces and a hammock under trees. These open up to the beauty of the surrounding Tuscan countryside, as well as to the pool, where lunch and dinner can be enjoyed. In the garden 3 large table are set in order to provide a perfect place for sitting outdoors, dining or simply admiring the marvelous views over the gently rolling hills of Chianti.
Living room
A large double living room with a very big Tuscan-styled fireplace, comfortable sofa and armchairs make up the living area where the fascinating painting of The Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci hangs. The living room is equipped with satellite TV, first class Denon HI-FI system, CD and DVD player, a collection of 100 CDs (Classic, Jazz, Salsa, Pop) and an upright piano. Its large double doors open onto the main terrace (328 sq. ft/100 m2) where guests can enjoy dining under the plane tree enjoying the panorama.
Dining room
The dining room seats 16 people on a long table and has a cozy salon in which two full-size painting replicas by Paolo Uccello (The Battle of San Romano) and Leonardo da Vinci (Lady with an Ermine) can be admired.
Kitchen
The large kitchen with fireplace and its own access to the garden contains cooking equipment for serving at least 20 persons. It boasts a 5-burner stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator-freezer and all modern amenities such as coffee maker, mixer, etc.
Laundry room
Next to the kitchen, there is a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment.
Office room
A cozy office room has been set up with desk, sofa, phone and Canon printer/scanner/fax.
Air conditioning and WI-FI
All the rooms have their own air conditioning system and WI-FI internet connection.
